Match a payment

Got an e-Transfer or a bank notice? Paste it and Backstage finds the booking it's for, by the amount, the name and the invoice number. You mark it paid.

How to

  1. Open Money → Invoices, then ... → Match a payment.
  2. Paste the e-Transfer or bank email, or add a screenshot. Click Find the booking.
  3. It shows the booking it's clearly for, or the likely ones. Pick another if it's wrong.
  4. Tap Mark $X paid. It's recorded on the invoice like any payment, and the client can get a receipt.

Interac e-Transfer emails are read without AI at all. Account numbers are removed before anything else is read.
