Travel in the client's price

Charge travel per musician, the way bands do. The client sees one line, like "Travel: 6 musicians, 240 km round trip", and it changes as they add players.

  1. How you chargePer km per musician, or flat by distance.

How to

  1. In Packages and prices, open Travel.
  2. Pick a way to charge: per km per musician (with free km and round trip), or a flat amount per musician by distance (0 to 50 km, 50 to 150 km, 150 km and up).
  3. Optional: a hotel per musician per night past a distance, and count crew.
  4. The suggested rate is CRA's per-km rate in Canada or the IRS rate in the US. Use your own if you like.

Tip

Distance is looked up from your home base to the venue's street address. If it can't be found, the client sees "Travel: the band confirms" and you add it when you confirm.
